Aparthotel Nowy Świat 28 is located next to the most famous and most prestigious streets in Poland: Nowy Swiat and Krakowskie Przedmieście, which lead to the Presidential Palace, the Warsaw Old Town and the Royal Castle. They are also the most important part of the Royal Route.
Aparthotel Nowy Świat 28 is located in the outbuilding of an old, cosy tenement house of Kazimierz Mèyet and dates from the beginning of the 20th century, which, as one of the few, withstood the Second World War. That is why history and heritage play the biggest role here, while the design and room arrangement ensure comfort and convenience of modern spaces.
In the over 3 meter high apartments, everything that could be restored has been preserved: tariff ceilings, window frames, doors and floors. The whole was completed with stylized, custom-made and original furniture; found in antique shops or at flea markets. At the same time, each of the available apartments is comfortable and modern, equipped with a dishwasher, coffee maker, hob plate, TV, WIFI, ironing set and a hair dryer.
The interiors have been designed to satisfy different tastes. There are cosy apartments for a romantic trip for two, those perfect for a business trip, but also larger ones, for a getaway with family or friends. Each of them, however, retains the same style: retro feel with a modern twist.
The indoor areas were designed by Aleksandra Hyz and Bartosz Kołomański, respecting the history of the building and maintaining its unique style. The Mèyeta tenement house was built in 1917.
Only slightly damaged during the war, it survived in its shape to this day. Renovated a few years ago, the facade gives this place both the air of freshness and a touch of history. The specific nature of the building makes it possibile to maintain a microclimate, thanks to which it is not necessary to install air conditioning.
In the summer it maintains a moderate temperature, and in the winter it keeps the apartments warm. The original staircase leads to the rooms located on different floors of the building. In each of our cosy apartments you will find fresh flowers and herbs.
